Commissions

I was commissioned by the artist, André Wallace, to create some music in response to his body of work, The Voyage. This resulted in the CD, the Coracle of Life, which accompanied his sculpture and drawings in his exhibition at the Poole Museum. The exhibition was most recently shown in Glastonbury, 2025.

I have also commissioned other composers to write for solo flute and flute and chamber ensembles:

Some of these can be heard in the current project, Freedom Dances, a collaboration with Antonio Bukhar Ssebuuma and the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. Dates next season, include University of Kent and Phoenix, Exeter, Leeds and West Malling.

Here is a list of some of the composers that have written for me:

  • Angela Slater
